Do I need a sewing machine for the included projects?

All of our pre-cut sewing projects and tutorials are designed to be used with a sewing machine. Any sewing machine will do--new, old, or borrowed. When will my box ship?

We ship all of our member's boxes once per month--this gives us time to cut out fabrics, put together sewing kits, and curate the rest of the box. Shipments are sent between the 1st and the 4th of each month; your first box will be sent to you at the beginning of the month after your purchase.

When will I be billed?

Your subscription charge will be billed to your account on the 10th of each month.

Why was my subscription renewed?

The Sew What Box is a subscription service that automatically renews at the end of each cycle, same as most other services of it's type. We do this to ensure that no member misses a single Sew What Box.

Why are the subscriptions different prices if it's still paid monthly?

Great question--if you commit to a longer length of monthly shipments, you get the best deal! Preparing ahead allows us to make plans with fabric vendors to put together future Sew What Boxes at a great price.

Can I skip shipments for the months that I do not want to sew?

You can easily skip a shipment--maybe you will be on vacation that month, have too many projects going on, or do not like the theme of the upcoming box. You will not be charged for skipped shipments. How can I pause or cancel my subscription?

If you would like to change or cancel your subscription, please log into your account and click "Manage Subscription" under the "Account Details" heading. From there, you can:

● Pause your Subscription: This is perfect for when you are going on vacation! This setting will pause all renewal payments until you log back in and un-pause your subscription.

● Cancel your Subscription: If you signed up for a multi-month subscription, you will still be charged for the remaining boxes if you cancel before the end of your subscription term.

Can I return items for a refund?

If your box comes with missing or broken pieces, please reach out to us at taylar@sewwhatbox.com and we would be more than happy to send replacement parts/pieces. We do not accept returns or refund sent boxes or items.
