Fabric Easter Eggs
Easter eggs, reimagined! These fabric Easter eggs are fully lined with no internal raw edges.

Written Directions
1. Cut all pieces out along the black lines, keeping like prints together.
2. Working with one set (pieces A, B, C) of a like print and one set (pieces D, E, F) of lining, follow steps 3-12 to complete one egg.
3. Place pieces B and E together with right sides of fabric facing and matching flat edge. Sew along flat edge with 1/4 inch seam allowance.
4. Press sewn seam with seam allowance open, then fold along sewn line so that the wrong sides of both pieces are facing each other. Press flat and topstitch 1/4 inch away from straight edge.
5. Place pieces C and F together with right sides of fabric facing and matching flat edge. Sew along flat edge with 1/4 inch seam allowance.
6. Press sewn seam with seam allowance open, then fold along sewn line so that the wrong sides of both pieces are facing each other. Press flat and topstitch 1/4 inch away from straight edge.
7. Place pieces A and D on top of each other, with wrong sides of fabric facing. Pin together and treat as one piece.
8. Arrange the top and bottom egg pieces (from steps 4 and 6) on the large egg piece, with colored outter fabrics facing each other and piece C/F on top of piece B/E.
9. Sew around entire egg-shape with a scant 1/4 inch seam allowance.
10. Make small relief cuts around the sewn egg, about 1/4 inch apart, from raw edge in to seam line. Do not cut across seam line.
11. Turn right side out and press flat. Take the time to make sure the edges are pushed out so that the seam line is right on the folded edge.
12. Topstitch around the entire egg shape, with a seam allowance just over 1/4 inch.
13. Repeat steps 3-12 with every colored egg set.
