Felt Christmas Tree Tutorial
Part fo the 2022 Edition of the Sew What Box 12-Days of Christmas, these fun decor trees are super cute, crafty, and fun to make. Plus, they are the perfect excuse to use fabric markers! (For coloring the star and drawing lights/baubles.)
Project Steps:
1. To make one tree, lay 2 felt pieces together and line up all edges. Then, carefully stitch around the edge of the pieces, about 1/8 inch away from the edges. Leave a 1/4 inch hole in the center of the bottom of the tree.
2. Use fabric markers to decorate your tree by coloring the star, adding ornaments, or other fun decorations.
3. Push one end of a piece of wire into the hole in the top of one wooden block. Then slip the top end of the wire into the small stitching hole in the bottom of the tree.
