Fabric Easter Eggs
Easter eggs, reimagined! These fabric Easter eggs are fully lined with no internal raw edges.

Written Directions
NOTE: Seam Allowance is 1/2-inch unless otherwise indicated.
- Cut all pieces out along the black lines.
- Fold one piece C in half, with right sides of fabric facing, matching the short edges with each other. Pin and sew together along short edge.
- Press flat with right side of fabric on outside and seam line along one edge.
- Fold in half, matching all remaining raw edges with each other and press to hold crease. Pin along raw edges to hold closed.
- Repeat steps 2-4 with second piece C.
- Center one piece C along the top edge of one piece A, matching raw edges with each other and with right sides of fabric facing.
- Place one piece B on pinned pieces from step 6, centered, with right sides of fabric facing each other. Pin and sew along edge with folded piece C.
- Open seam and press flat with seam allowance to one side.
- Repeat steps 6-8 with remaining pieces C, A, and B.
- Center large sewn pieces on top of each other with right sides of fabric facing and all raw edges aligned, ensuring that both pieces A are matched on each other and both pieces B are matched on each other. Match center seamline and pin around all raw edges to hold in place.
- Sew around all pinned edges, leaving a 3-inch hole along the center of short edge of pieces B. Reverse stitch at beginning and end.
- Cut excess fabric from outside of seamlines on each corner and Turn right-side out through the hole left in step 11, poking corners out square.
- Turn raw edges into hole about 1/2-inch and press. Pin together and topstitch along pressed edge to close hole. Hand-stitch if preferred,
- Push pieces B into the bag to act as a lining. Press top edge flat.
- Working with piece D, fold one long edge toward the wrong side of the fabric 1/2-inch and press to hold fold. Repeat with second long edge.
- Fold in half, matching long edges with each other along the folds. The raw edges should be nicely tucked inside the folded strap. Press to hold.
- On one short end, unfold all folds and fold short end in half with right sides of fabric facing and raw edges lined up. Sew together along short end, reverse-stitching at beginning and end.
- Cut excess fabric from outside of stitching at the corners along this sewn section and turn right side out. Fold the long raw edges back inside of the piece and smooth flat. Press to hold.
- Repeat steps 17-18 with the other short end.
Topstitch along both long edges, starting and stopping at the same short end each time to reduce fabric twisting. - String sewn drawstring through the long tubes at the top of the bag (pieces
C) so that both ends of the drawstring come out on the same side of the bag. - Tie drawstring to close.
