Troubleshooting Stitch Issues
Weird, skipped, or wonky stitches can be enough to make any sewist want to throw their sewing machine against the wall. Never fear--read on to discover EASY ways to fix weird stitching.
Believe it or not, 98% of stitch issues can be fixed by changing your sewing machine needle or simply rethreading your sewing machine. Dull needles will not create a stitch as easily as a new needle--and for this reason, you should change to a new sewing needle after every 8 hours of sewing.
If this does not fix your machine's stitch pattern, there are a variety of other simple remedies that you can test. Here, I have created a video explaining how to run these tests/fixes. Enjoy!
